Technical Project Manager – Infrastructure

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in IT Infrastructure Delivery to lead and manage large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering complex projects involving Data Centers, Networks, Security, Cloud, Servers, Storage, Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Enterprise Infrastructure Platforms.
The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, financial oversight, executive reporting, and leadership skills to drive successful project outcomes across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Management
- Manage end-to-end infrastructure project delivery from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and governance models.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, implementation schedules, and governance dashboards.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of project risks and delivery challenges.
- Drive project governance, implementation readiness, change management, and post-implementation reviews.
Infrastructure Delivery
- Lead projects involving: Data Center migration and consolidation Server, Virtualization, and Compute Platforms Storage and Backup Solutions Network Infrastructure and Connectivity Firewall and Security Implementations Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Transformations Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Hardware Refresh and Infrastructure Modernization MPLS, WAN, SD-WAN, and Telco Connectivity Projects
- Coordinate infrastructure readiness across Architecture, Security, Network, Database, Application, Operations, and Vendor teams.
- Ensure successful cutover planning, rollback strategy, operational handover, and transition to support teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Business, Technology, Architecture, Security, Operations, PMO, Vendors, and Leadership teams.
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, project reviews, and executive forums.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project priorities, risks, and dependencies effectively.
- Coordinate delivery across regional and global teams operating within matrix organizations.
Reporting & Executive Communication
- Prepare project dashboards, governance packs, executive presentations, and leadership updates.
- Present project health, risks, budgets, milestones, and key decisions to senior management.
- Translate technical challenges into clear business-focused communication.
- Maintain meeting minutes, action trackers, and portfolio-level reporting.
Financial & Vendor Management
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and financial tracking.
- Coordinate procurement activities, vendor deliverables, contracts, Statements of Work (SOW), and milestones.
- Support business case creation, funding approvals, and commercial governance.
- Track vendor performance and ensure adherence to delivery commitments.

Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years of Project Management experience with significant Infrastructure Delivery exposure.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure projects and programs.
- Strong understanding of Data Centers, Networks, Security, Cloud, Servers, Storage, and Backup technologies.
- Experience in Banking, Payments, Financial Services, or large enterprise environments preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
