Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the team transforms complex data into actionable recommendations that drive performance, innovation, and customer value.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will own complex data products and solutions from initial business questions through to delivery. You will partner with senior stakeholders and technical colleagues, contributing hands-on to data models and semantic layers for AI-based solutions while helping the team deliver reliable, reusable outcomes at pace.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage complex analytics projects from planning through delivery, translating loosely defined business questions into the right data solutions to address them
  • Collaborate directly with product managers, analytics engineers and other technologists on data product and solution development, applying governance principles to ensure our products are reliable and reusable
  • Engage and influence internally, acting as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders, playing a direct role in shaping strategy and advocating for data-driven decision making
  • Continuously adapt to new tools and technologies, adopting emerging techniques to improve our end solutions and critically, our speed of delivery
  • Play a direct role in levelling up the team by coaching junior colleagues in business engagement, analysis design and end-to-end project management

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in a data-oriented role is essential, as is a proven track record of owning and managing complex projects to delivery
  • Flexibility, speed and a bias for action are a must. Our team moves fast and so must you
  • You are a confident and clear communicator who can influence both senior and technical stakeholders
  • You are detail-orientated and a critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
  • You have strong experience in data preparation and blending, whether in Excel, Snowflake or other data platforms
  • Knowledge of AI assisted product development practices is an advantage, but not essential
  • Experience in scholarly publishing, research or a related industry is an advantage, but not essential

Applicants must include a cover letter. This should clearly describe your interest in the role and how your skills, knowledge, and experience would contribute to the team. Applications that do not include a cover letter will not be reviewed.
