Within NXP Trust Provisioning, we are looking for a Working Student to support our DevOps activities.


For more and more products in Mobile, Connectivity, Payment, IoT, Automotive, Smart Home (Voice recognition etc.), Transportation (Public Transportation etc.), Smart Cities (Smart Energy etc.)  and other areas, security is mandatory. You will be part of the Trust Provisioning Operations team in Hamburg, providing Product Customization and Service Operations to a large variety of internal and external customers.

Your Job

Join our team as a Working Student and gain hands-on experience with DevOps, automation, and real-world application operations.


You will:

  • Support testing and deployment of new application versions.
  • Help with day-to-day application and operational support.
  • Automate repetitive and manual tasks.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and modern DevOps tooling.
  • Help us continuously improve and document our technical processes.
  • Work 15–20 hours per week, preferably across at least 2 days.

Your Profile

  • You are studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another technical subject.
  • You have some first experience or strong interest in DevOps and automation.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Jenkins or Bitbucket is a plus.
  • You have basic scripting skills, preferably Python, Bash or PowerShell.
  • Jira and Confluence experience is a plus.
  • You enjoy solving problems and learning new technologies.
  • You can work independently but also enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You communicate confidently in English.
  • You are interested in staying with us for a longer period.

The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
