Job Title : Manager / Senior Manager - AMC Production

Entity : Evonik Catalysts India Pvt. Ltd.

Work Location : Dombivli

Reporting to : Head of Operations


Purpose of the position :

  • Responsible for entire AMC production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan for production of AMC as per schedule received from sales department.
  • Meet all requirements of QC during manufacturing & target Zero rejection.
  • To strictly adhere to standard Operation procedure manual.
  • To follow up equipment’s preventive schedule for smooth production and reduce machine breakdown.
  • Calibration of equipment’s & instruments by internal & external agencies.
  • To train production chemist in plant operation for quality output and work delegation.
  • Smooth operation of AMC for production of catalyst maintaining all the process parameters.
  • Checking of monthly stock & MIS records.
  • Co-ordinate with R&D/QC,& Store/Dispatch department as and when required.
  • Efficient team handling for maximum output and better result.
  • To adhere and monitor that all required safety standards are followed in plant as per process requirement.
  • Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Ensure plant pollution equipment are operational and emissions are as per prescribed standards.
  • Identify training requirement and coordinate with ESH function/impart training.
  • Participate and encourage participation in various ESH activities such as training, hazard identification, plant round etc.
  • Prepare & discuss lesson learned documents with workforce post incidents.
  • Carry periodic plant inspection to ensure adherence to ESH rules and regulations.
  • Ensure Management of Change Procedure followed for required changes in the plant.
  • Lead team in case of onsite emergencies in the area of working.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 12 years of experience in the chemical industry, including hands-on responsibility for production operations, process optimization, safety compliance, and plant performance management. Experience in chemical manufacturing plants is essential.
