We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analytical Chemistry Lab Technician to join our SPTD Labs team in Arizona. In this pivotal role, you will support Intel's advanced manufacturing and research operations by managing chemical sampling, laboratory analysis, and precision data handling. Your contributions will directly impact the accuracy and reliability of our laboratory operations, supporting process development and yield improvement efforts that drive the next generation of semiconductor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze chemical samples using advanced laboratory techniques, including titration, ICP-OES, HPLC/IC, CVS, and other analytical methods.
  • Safely handle, mix, and store chemicals in strict accordance with established safety protocols and standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize laboratory data, preparing and presenting clear reports to engineers and key stakeholders.
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on laboratory tools and equipment to maintain accuracy, precision, and operational readiness.
  • Support process transfers, Best Known Methods (BKM) development, and cross-training initiatives to strengthen team capabilities and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with lab engineers and managers to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, equipment availability, and timely delivery of analytical results.
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives, quality systems maintenance, and continuous laboratory improvement programs.
  • Develop clear, trainable documentation for laboratory processes and assist in onboarding and training team members.

 

Shift 7 Details (days backend) 6AM-6PM - Thursday to Saturday and alternating Wednesday days

 

This position is based in Arizona. Compensation for this role will be determined in accordance with the applicable salary range for the Arizona work location, as well as factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a STEM-related field
  • OR associate’s degree in a STEM-related field with 2+ years of maintenance or chemical handling experience.
  • Relevant experience will be in the following:
    • Proficiency in laboratory techniques including sample preparation, chemical handling, and analytical measurements.
    • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment such as ICP-OES, HPLC, CVS, and titration tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related STEM discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Semiconductor manufacturing or laboratory environments.
    • Analytical methods such as Ion Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, and other chemical analysis techniques.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $60,450.00-116,640.00 USD (Hourly Role)
