Manufacturing Specialist - Production Supervision
The Manufacturing Manager – Production Supervision in Drilling Services is responsible for managing day to day plant operations, ensuring safe and compliant execution, and delivering solid outcomes against on time supply, quality, delivery, cost, and financial targets. The role requires strong manufacturing leadership, a digital mindset, proactive problem solving, and the ability to drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, and cost optimization projects that support plant and business objectives.
Role Overview
This role acts as the plant Manager, overseeing HSE, engineering, quality, production supervision, resource planning, materials planning, sourcing/procurement direct materials, operational execution, staff development, and cross functional alignment. The position is accountable for achieving plant KPIs, delivering the financial plan, improving productivity, and building a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

- Manage day to day manufacturing operations and ensure production activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with business priorities.
- Deliver solid outcomes by fulfilling customer on-time supply requirements, quality metrics, delivery commitments, productivity targets, and plant financial plan objectives.
- Lead production supervision, resource allocation, daily execution follow-up, and operational issue resolution.
- Ensure HSE, Quality & Compliance non-negotiables are followed without exception, including proactive identification and correction of safety, quality, and compliance risks.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, digital transformation, and cost optimization projects, including dashboards, automation, and data driven performance management to improve plant performance.
- Develop and lead the team by setting clear expectations, improving capabilities, supporting staff development, and building a high performance culture.
- Coordinate with supply chain, sourcing, planning, engineering, quality, HSE, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and execution readiness.
- Manage plant resources, capacity, cost, and operational priorities to support customer requirements and business growth.
- Support strategic planning, transition projects, and production transfers while ensuring minimal disruption to safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations, production supervision, plant management, or industrial operations leadership.
- Strong experience in manufacturing operations management, production supervision, plant leadership, or industrial operations.
- Proven ability to manage day to day plant operations while delivering solid outcomes in on-time supply, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and financial performance targets.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, strategic planning, production transfers, or operational transition projects.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and process optimization methodologies.
- Proven track record in HSE and Quality compliance, including maintaining a safety-driven culture and proactively addressing operational risks.
- Experience leading teams, developing staff capabilities, improving workforce discipline, and building a high-performance operational culture.
- Experience working with supply chain, sourcing, planning, engineering, quality, HSE, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure execution readiness.
- Strong digital mindset with the ability to lead digital transformation initiatives, including dashboards, data driven performance management, automation, and AI-enabled improvement approaches.
- Strong capability in cost and resource optimization, with experience delivering productivity, margin, liquidation and cost improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated record of delivering high value manufacturing output, strong on-time supply performance, and favorable financial margins.
