The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Director, Drug Supply Chain Business Systems to lead the systems and data capabilities that support the global movement of RevMed’s medicines from manufacturing through distribution. This role owns the roadmap for supply chain operations, packaging artwork, serialization, and product security, working closely with Supply Chain, Packaging, Quality, Regulatory, Security, and IT. Key responsibilities include:

  • Set the strategy and roadmap for global supply chain systems, including planning, inventory, order management, warehousing, distribution, artwork management, and serialization.

  • Lead serialization across packaging lines, enterprise systems, and external partners, including serial number management, aggregation, verification, and traceability data exchange.

  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to support applicable U.S. Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and EU Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) requirements.

  • Support artwork creation, review, approval, version control, and market-specific packaging changes.

  • Work with Quality and Security teams to strengthen counterfeit product prevention, product authentication, and investigations of suspect products.

  • Identify and implement AI opportunities that reduce manual work and improve decisions, such as inventory and demand analysis, exception triage, artwork review support, and detection of serialization data anomalies. Measure results and maintain. appropriate human review, data controls, and system oversight.

  • Lead system implementations and integrations, balancing global process consistency with local market requirements. Maintain appropriate documentation, testing, change management, and data integrity.

  • Manage vendors, budgets, service performance, and teams. Support continuity during product launches, recalls, and supply chain disruptions.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, supply chain, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in business systems or supply chain technology, including significant experience in pharmaceuticals or another regulated life sciences environment.

  • Experience supporting a global supply chain across multiple regions, manufacturing sites, and distribution partners.

  • Experience with planning tools for clinical and commercial supply.

  • Demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical serialization systems, packaging line integration, aggregation, and partner data exchange.

  • Working knowledge of DSCSA and EU FMD requirements and experience supporting the systems used to meet them.

  • Experience with artwork management systems, packaging change processes, and product security capabilities.

  • Experience evaluating or deploying AI and automation in business processes, with sound judgment about data quality, oversight, and measurable value.

  • Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5, and risk-based validation approaches.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Tracelink Serialization platform.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite and SAP.

  • Familiarity with Veeva Development Cloud.

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. The range displayed on each job posting is intended to be the base pay salary range for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market a candidate is based in. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.

Base Pay Salary Range
$211,000—$264,000 USD
