Summary:
Provides analysis and interpretation of the customers’ and/or merchants’ financial status for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits. Interacts with sales support, customer service, and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts. Prepares recommendations and makes credit approval decisions on new accounts. Analyzes and reports on credit memo and write-off activity. Monitors and communicates credit concerns to management. This job is not for those responsible for placing routine calls to customers for collection of past due accounts. This role is focused on policy decisions/judgment regarding credit offers.Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Description
The Credit Control Analyst is responsible for assessing customer credit risk, maintaining appropriate credit limits and payment terms, managing credit holds, and supporting the timely collection of outstanding receivables.
The role works closely with customers, Sales, Order Management, Accounts Receivable (GSSC), Business Unit Finance, and other internal stakeholders to manage credit exposure, resolve account issues, support order release decisions, and minimize the risk of bad debt.
The position requires strong financial analysis, communication, reconciliation, and organizational skills, together with the ability to balance commercial requirements against the organization’s credit risk policies.
